For me today, I chose not to do a ritual but instead to enjoy a meal with some close family and to respect in thoughts Nanny and other members of my family who are no longer with us. I miss them each and every day.
What with everything that’s been going on lately, I’ve lacked almost any motivation to write. I’ve been so busy that any free time I do have, I end up spending with friends trying to relax and distract myself from the current events.
I’m sure for some of you reading, if you are a solitary witch i.e. not a member of a coven, it’s sometimes hard to find other like-minded people. When you have other commitments like work, kids (or even pets!) you won’t always have the time to go to events where you would meet people with the same interests or you might not have the same local opportunities where you live.
So lately, there’s been some really personal stuff going on which I won’t be going into too much detail about, but it’s made me start thinking about preparing a banishing spell.
I recently posted an article on what kind of tools can be used in the Craft so I thought it would be a good time to give ways in which to cleanse these tools before and after using them.
When practising the Craft either through ritual or spell work, various tools are commonly used to assist in directing one’s will.
